Position: ANIMAL CONTROL OFFICER
Available: Currently Open
Hours: Part-Time (20-25 Hours Weekly and Call Outs)
Hourly Rate: $12.00-13.00 per hour (Experience Considered)
Qualifications:
- At least 21 Years of Age
- U.S. Citizen
- No Felony Convictions or Serious Criminal Background
- Valid Driver’s License
- At least a High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Prior Experience as Animal Control Officer
- Submit to Drug Screening
Knowledge of:
- Various breeds of dogs, cats and other domestic animals
- Basic methods of animal collection and impoundment
- Local, State, Federal Laws and Town Ordinances related to the care and control of animals
- Principles and practices of record keeping and recording
